Call for Representatives from all Regions and Sub Regions of Uganda on ITAU Executive

This is an opportunity for new members to join the ITAU Executive Committee, a team of individuals passionate about creating an impact in the country through leading the battle against Computer illiteracy. The ICT Teachers Association of Uganda seeks to expand to all corners of Uganda, and is calling upon representatives from all regions and sub regions of the country to join the executive committee in order to achieve the objectives of the association as stipulated in the constitution.

Administrative ITAU Regions and Sub Regions

ITAU has adopted the official regions and sub regions of Uganda in its admistrative structure. Uganda is currently divided into 127 districts and the capital city of Kampala, which are grouped into four administrative regions. The regions have smaller subregions which are mainly based on ethinicity of the people as illustrated below.

ITAU Workplan for Regions

During the recent ITAU NEC meeting, members resolved to conduct seminars for students in all regions in addition to other activities like Teachers workshops, Students Club competions, SACCO, etc. ITAU seeks to work tirelessly together to support the community of ICT teachers to innovatively improve in our methods of work, thereby promoting ICT education and increasing computer literacy in Uganda, through coordinated discussion platforms, workshops, seminars, events, national ICT competitions, debates, regular meetings, member guidance and counseling, resource sharing, projects, pooling finances and creating effective links/ connections to partner organisations, agancies and companies which can support the ICT Teachers community.

ITAU therefore requires moblisers in all regions countrywide if the association is to achieve its objectives. However, the exisiting regional committees have some gaps, and some sub regions are not represented.

Call for Nominations for ICT Teachers in all regions and Sub regions to fill the vacant posts on the ITAU Executive

This is an opportunity for new members to join the ITAU Executive Committee, a team of individuals passionate about creating an impact in the country through leading the battle against Computer illiteracy.

Nominate your self through THIS NOMINATION FORM. If you wish to stand for more than one post to increase your chances of wining at least one, you may fill in the form multiple times for each of the desired posts.
