ICT and Computer Students Seminars to look out for this June / July 2019

On the set day, enthusiastic students from several schools take the stage and share their knowledge, skills and methods of approaching different topics. This gives students an intensive exposure to a subject and an opportunity to share experiences and exchange perspectives regarding their studies.

Benefits of External Seminars for Candidates

A seminar is a joint meeting led by an experts that focuses on a specific subject or discipline. Seminars typically take involve cooperative discussion, multiple speakers and opportunities to share perspectives and issues related to the topic. Attending a seminar has numerous benefits, including improving communication skills, gaining expert knowledge, networking with others and renewing motivation and confidence.

Seminars give students intensive exposure to a subject through presentations and discussions led by multiple experts. Seminars are an ideal opportunity for students who want to study in depth. By asking questions, taking detailed notes and being prepared for each day’s events, students can leave a seminar with a wide range of knowledge in a specific field than you would take in through individual reading.

Academic seminars, education experts argue, besides empowering students to take a leading role in their studies, come with enormous benefits for the school and therefore should be encouraged as a tool of instruction.

Although your school may have offered students all the necessary knowledge and skills needed to excel in their studies, they still require more experiences using different approaches because learning never ends. Academic seminars promote critical thinking and creativity among learners as they participate in discussions and debates.  This interactive environment ensures a much deeper understanding of the material that would otherwise be missed during an ordinary lesson, and it is one major way through which students can improve their grades and add value to their understanding.

Schools should therefore embrace the culture of joint revision by taking studying beyond their gates in a bid to groom academically passionate, knowledgeable and enlightened learners. Inter-school seminars are a wealth of knowledge, enlightenment and hub of productive acquaintances.

Seminars are an avenue through which solutions to students’ challenges can be arrived at because students return from these seminars with rekindled motivation and enthusiasm to pursue their academic goals.

In conclusion, teachers should take interest in conducting seminars for their students. Inviting eminent personalities who have achieved some feat in the subject to facilitate the seminars for the students greatly helps them and has turned out to be more effective in many schools. Also they can learn their mistakes and can improve their seminar presentation skills. It is actually a great chance for the students to improve their skills within their curriculum. The syllabus also encourages the teachers to invite resource persons to supplement / inspire the students on particular aspects of the various topics. Therefore, seminars have an important role to play in the curriculum.
