Broad Objective
Through several activities, we are putting efforts and minds together to support each other to innovatively improve our methods of work and improve our capacity, thereby promoting ICT education, increasing computer literacy and bridging the digital divide in Uganda.

Capacity Development Workshops (CDWs)
Through the National, Regional and Sub Regional CDWs, teachers gather at select venues for sessions
covering topics of concern. ITAU’s workshops are held annually.

Student's Seminars
The ICT Teachers Association through its regional and sub-regional
executives regularly conducts ICT students’ seminars.

WordCamps & Meetups
ITAU partners with the WordPress Community of Uganda which
organizes trainings on Website Design and Related Technologies.

ITAU Mock Examinations
The ICT Teachers’ Association of Uganda through its senior members conducts ICT/ Computer Studies model MOCK exams and other forms of assessment.

ITAU SACCO
Our SACCO which also serves as our financial arm creates among us a sense of belonging through shares, savings and loans.

ITAU Master Flash
The Master Flash is packed with the basic software a school’s ICT department would need for both students and teachers.

ITAU T-shirt Project
ITAU t-shirts are one way of creating awareness about the
association whenever a member dons one.

ITAU Geeks
The ITAU GEEKS are a voluntary outfit that provides maintenance support to schools without computer lab technicians.

ITAU Elearning
The ICT Teachers’ Association mobilizes its members to create video tutorials on various topics to aid e-learning and digital pedagogy.

Perfomace Task Force
ITAU through its performance watchdog endeavors to make a follow up on the performance of schools across the country.
