Kolibri the best Open Offline EdTech Solution for Supporting Global Students Learning

Kolibri is a perfect solution for most of the schools in not only rural areas but also urban areas especially in Africa. I encourage educational leaders and teachers to utilize opportunities that Kolibri provides in learning.

While most of the educational institutions in world are turning to online education in a bid to continue helping learners who are out of schools due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, one wonders how and whether the disconnected communities and learners are catered for. There are many rural learners and educators who are faced with numerous barriers such as costly and unreliable internet, inaccessibility to internet when it comes to online education!

As educational institutions are thinking of how to bridge this education gap that is being created, I need to draw our attention to the use of a free and open offline EdTech solution known as Kolibri learning platform to support our learners. Kolibri learning platform could be a long term project for schools and communities faced with barriers such as those mentioned above.

What is Kolibri Offline EdTech?

Kolibri is an initiative of Learning Equality aimed at supporting learners and educators in communities where internet connectivity is not stable, not reliable, and costly and beyond their reach. This platform has a great pool of open educational resources on various subjects developed to support learning without internet requirement.
