I have been teaching computer studies and Sub-ICT for almost five years now and one of the problems I come across everyday is when computers fail to work due to one problem or another. Sometimes it is a virus problem other times its a hard disk problem and in some cases a complete system crush.
While these problems are understandable, its a teacher’s prayer that this never happens during exams. I remember at one of my former schools we did a UNEB Exam when it was almost dark. What I learnt on that day was that as teacher’s of ICT we don’t have to solely rely on technicians to solve the most common problems in our computer labs.
While many a teacher would willingly love to be able to solve these problems getting all the software needed is a problem. First, knowing which tools to use is not for everyone. Even when you decide to collect the software one by one, it ends up very expensive. So when Mr. Dumba Stephen came up with a flash packed with all the software needed for smooth running of a school computer lab, I decided that this was a must have for me.
I finally got my copy of the ITAU Master Flash v.2022 and this is the list of software on it.
